iBoysoft NTFS for Mac Version 3.0 Powers Native, Fast, and Secure NTFS Read Write Performance on macOS 11 and M1-Equipped Macs

iBoysoft NTFS for Mac version 3.0

iBoysoft (https://iboysoft.com), a professional data recovery and disk management software provider for individuals and businesses, unveils iBoysoft NTFS for Mac version 3.0 with greatly improved integration with macOS 11 Big Sur. The software empowers macOS to read and write Microsoft NTFS disks alongside native management to Windows files and volumes, especially on Macs with an ARM-based M1 Chip.

Apple officially released macOS 11 Big Sur to the public on Nov. 12, 2020, following the shipping of the first M1-equipped MacBook Air on Nov. 17, 2020. The two events have marked a significant transition in Apple's personal computer lineup that the company determines to move forward to integrate macOS into its tech ecosystem, most importantly, with its own silicon.

iBoysoft, following Apple's technology trends, upgrades NTFS for Mac to version 3.0 to make it deeply compatible with macOS 11 and M1-powered MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.

Native, Fast, and Secure NTFS Read Write Access

Without modifying the Kernel extension in macOS through Terminal commands, macOS doesn't support direct write access to an NTFS volume that is previously formatted in Windows. iBoysoft NTFS for Mac version 3.0 abandoned FUSE, a software interface that lets non-privileged users create their own file system without editing Kernel code, and now is derived from its own independently programmed universal file system driver. Therefore, it provides better native read-write performance to Windows NTFS drives with securer data transferring and faster writing speed, equivalent to Apple's HFS+ or APFS file system.

Highly integrated with macOS Finder and Disk Utility

iBoysoft NTFS for Mac version 3.0 adds more NTFS writing functionalities. Users can have immediate permission in Finder to alter the name of an NTFS volume, to tag NTFS files, and to AirDrop NTFS files. Files from network drives and cloud storage can be downloaded to NTFS volumes seamlessly.

Even though the new version retains the Disk Management window as in version 1.8, NTFS or non-NTFS disk management activities can be natively accomplished using Disk Utility's toolbar without going to the Disk Management window. The most noticeable change will be that Windows NTFS is integrated into the Format options.

Supports 4K hard Drives and 60,000+ Files Sharing

iBoysoft NTFS for Mac version 3.0 grants full and stable read write file privilege to NTFS-formatted hard drives and solid-state drives, especially to those having physical sector size are 4096 (4K) bytes. It eliminates the maximum of 60,000 files that can be moved in and out of an NTFS volume and supports unlimited file exchange. The two improvements make the software well suited to today's large capacity drives.

Pricing and Availability

iBoysoft NTFS for Mac v3.0 works on macOS 11/10.15/10.14/10.13. The prior version 1.8 compatible with macOS 10.12 or earlier is available through email.
